A new non-opioid treatment for osteoarthritis pain

Levicept is working to transform the lives of people living with osteoarthritis, by advancing pain relief without the dependency risks of opioids or the side effects of long-term NSAID use.

Levicept is developing LEVI-04, a new painkiller that acts throughout the body, with the potential to restore joint health. LEVI-04 restores the natural balance of neurotrophins, proteins that drive pain in osteoarthritic joints. If approved, it would be the first new systemic treatment for osteoarthritis in over two decades.
